Where will this summer take you?
As an accredited online school, Laurel Springs has an excellent track record of providing College Prep academics for students who need to address issues of scheduling and course availability any time of the year. With our rolling enrollment, summer school course dates can be selected around busy summer schedules, including travel, work or other planned learning adventures.
Whether students are interested in taking World Language or elective courses that are not offered at their school, or simply want to get ahead with online summer courses, Laurel Springs provides flexible academic offerings to meet individual students’ needs. In addition, all of our summer College Prep courses include full teacher services, individualized grading, and many of our courses are NCAA and University of California a-g approved.
How it Works: Summer and Part-Time Enrollments
Laurel Springs is the perfect fit for students who wish to get ahead by taking a course during the summer months. Our team of professionals has decades of experience working with students’ primary schools to ensure that credits from our courses are transferred to the student’s Upper School transcript.
On or before their course start date, students will have access to an orientation course in order to optimize their Laurel Springs experience. During these courses, students are expected to stay on track based on their end date. Their designated teacher(s) will provide feedback to match the student’s pace. Enrollment in Advanced Placement summer courses included a series of live exam prep sessions through the spring each year.
Prior to gaining access to a course, students must meet prerequisite requirements and obtain their school’s approval to receive credit on their transcripts. The student’s primary school is responsible for maintaining student records and updating transcripts to reflect courses completed through Laurel Springs School. Upon request, Laurel Springs will forward an official transcript of all courses completed through our program.
