We are thrilled to announce that Megan O’Reilly Palevich has joined our Laurel Springs community as the Director of Education. Mrs. Palevich has an extensive background in the education field. She earned her B.A. from Rosemont College in Elementary Education and Psychology, and her M.Ed. from Cabrini College in Educational Leadership with completion of the K-12 Principal Certification Program.
Mrs. Palevich has been a teacher and administrator in both the public and private sectors for the past 20 years. Her rich and varied experience in PreK-12 education includes curriculum design, signature innovative program development, technology integration, and personalized professional development for educators.
In addition to being a teacher, department chair, curriculum specialist, and academic dean, Mrs. Palevich has been a curriculum consultant for schools and Frontline as well as a guest blogger for Edutopia. She has won awards for innovation in science education from (CESI) and in social studies education from Facing History and Ourselves.
Mrs. Palevich will be working closely with the Academic Department Chairs and faculty to ensure students at Laurel Springs School have a dynamic, individualized experience in education. We are looking forward to having her guidance and expertise at Laurel Springs!
