The creativity has been flying in the recent Laurel Springs School Yearbook Club meetings! Our club members have been hard at work collaborating on this year’s theme and sections and we are excited to begin collecting photo submissions from the school community! Students in grades 7-12 have the opportunity not only to upload a headshot for their class page, but also add photos and captions to pages such as, “student accomplishments,” or “students and their pets,” just to name a few. Clubs will be highlights and our teachers will be celebrated in the yearbook as well.
Student Government President, McKenzie Holmes, has been a dedicated member of the Yearbook Club over the years, and wanted to share this message with the school community:
“I’ve been a part of our school for five years now, and something that has been really meaningful to me is our school yearbook. The first year I came to LSS, I was astonished that we had things like ID cards, clubs, Student Government, and a yearbook team, being an online school and all. The more I reflect on my time at Laurel Springs, the more thankful I am that I can pull one of the yearbooks from my bookshelf and scan over all the faces of the amazing friends and teachers I have had the honor to meet and work with over the years. I highly encourage every student (even if you choose not to download a yearbook or purchase a print version) to send their pictures in. It means more to your classmates than you’ll probably ever know. Thank you for helping contribute not just to the creation of a book, but to the creation of memories, that we can cherish for a lifetime.”
We are encouraging all Laurel Springs students in grades 7 – 12 to upload your photos and help contribute to our yearbook full of memories. Check your email for a link to upload your photos this week!
