Celebrating National School Counseling Week 2021
This week, Laurel Springs is celebrating National School Counseling Week, “School Counselors: All In for All Students.” From February 1-5, 2021, we focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems. Sponsored by the American School Counselor Association, National School Counseling Week (NSCW) highlights school counselors’ tremendous impact in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.
Throughout the week, we will highlight our counseling team and their roles in helping Laurel Springs students prepare for fulfilling, successful futures inside and outside of school by:
- Supporting students with their academic, social/emotional, and college/career needs.
- Leading live webinar sessions that focus on supporting students’ development both academically and socially.
- Building relationships with our students and families.
Check out the schedule below for more details.
Monday: Show your enthusiasm for NSCW by submitting photos of you holding up an official NSCW sign from the American School Counseling Association (click to download the “Happy NSCW,” “Love My School Counselor,” or “My School Counselor Helps Me Succeed” signs). Your picture might even be highlighted on our social media channels! Please send all submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org by Wednesday, February 3rd.
