We are pleased to offer our first ever student blogging initiative which is designed to engage students from around the globe in sharing their stories and expressing themselves as active members of our community. Blogging is an activity that requires students to think about a larger audience and reflect on what their peers would like to know about their experiences. Students are encouraged to share their stories, passions, goals, and future career paths. We will be sharing posts from our student bloggers throughout the school year and encourage you to visit Laurel Springs School on social media for links to our students’ latest contributions. You can also contact us at (800) 377-5890 for more information.

Ana Valeria Luque
Hello! I’m Ana Valeria Luque, and I’m in the 7th grade. Books and films have been part of my life for as long as I remember. Travel and music are with me every day, and I feel transported when reading myself into such magical places; writing stories and music helps me do the same. Sharing with friends and family has always been an important part in my life—so I’m excited to be expressing my experiences, thoughts, and more here. I run my own personal blog called The Lit Writing Lab, a classroom for teenagers that makes potions that transform and feed their brains through reviews about books, films, and scripts.
Sophia Marcheli

I love to read, write, and take photos, and I hope to study journalism in college. This year I am serving as the Secretary of National Honor Society, and I am a part of many other LSS clubs.
Alex Pentimonti
Hi, everyone! Alex here – I am a Sophomore in my second year with Laurel Springs. I’m also serving as the Student Editor for the LSS Students Bloggers; this is a role I love, because it means that I get to read so many wonderful pieces of writing and also interact with our lovely team of bloggers. I am an American living in London, and I love all things tennis, sailing, singing, baking, reading, and writing. My blogs will try to touch on as many diverse topics as possible, including travelling, cooking, sport, deeper philosophical thought, current events, student life at LSS, and I’ll even share some stories about the wonders and hidden gems of my adopted home city of London. Enjoy!
