Award: $1,000

Deadline: November 15, 2020

Description: Marketing has changed over time, especially with the wide variety of products and services available through the internet. Flip Flops and Apple Sauce reviews many of those products across a broad range of categories, all to give the user the best advice possible. In order to give a special student a chance at the best education possible, this scholarship will be awarded to one that shows an understanding of the most significant similarities and differences between traditional marketing and internet marketing.

Description: HomeLight connects the best real estate agents with prospective homebuyers to make the daunting process a little easier. You know what else is daunting? Paying for college. That’s why this dedicated team also wants to support students who share their passion for real estate. This scholarship is for anyone interested in designing, building, or selling homes; as well as combatting homelessness or studying the housing market. Qualified students that apply are asked to craft an essay on their related interests and experiences in their community.

Description: Based in Virginia Beach, the Boho Hippie Shop is dedicated to promoting peace and love through a variety of Boho-inspired jewelry. Another way they’re sharing the love is by offering scholarships to students who apply with an original essay depicting the positive side of the original hippie movement.

Deadline: November 17, 2020

Description: The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation Scholarship for the Advancement of Women in Sports & Entertainment is intended for eligible female college students who are looking to contribute to the field. Any woman majoring in Public Relations, Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, or Journalism with a desire to work in the entertainment or sports industry is invited to apply.
