Laurel Springs School is a private online school accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and Cognia. We pride ourselves in engaging students not only in their academics but their school community. Our current students in grades K-12 have the opportunity to connect virtually or in person with our meet-ups, field trips, traveling learning experiences, and more.
Every year, our student engagement team and staff work on organizing events. Whether they are online events or in-person, our staff ensures that every student has a blast! Below is a description of our events and what new students and current students can expect for the 2023-2024 school year.
Meet-Ups
Meet-ups are free partial-day, informal gatherings around the country that allow students to connect and have fun. Most meet-ups directly follow a regional field trip, so families can easily make these into two-day excursions. Meet-ups help students meet grade-level peers and make long-lasting friendships. If a meet-up is in your area (or you can get there), bring the whole family to enjoy some Laurel Springs camaraderie!
Regional Field Trips
Our field trips are full-day, more extensive in-person events where students, their peers, staff, and their families visit museums, enjoy cultural events, and more. Generally, the cost for regional field trips may range from $80 to $120 per person which will cover all activities, necessary transportation during the field trip, and an event t-shirt for the memories. Like our meet-ups, your whole family is welcome!

These signature events focus on the areas of service to the community, service to the environment, service to history and civics, and service to self-actualization and leadership.
