04/01/2026

At Laurel Springs, we are proud of each and every student, family, alumnus, and staff member who has been a part of our 35-year legacy. As one way to celebrate our 35th anniversary, we launched our first ever Student Showcase Laurel Springs commercial! Our commercial went live on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, featuring the voices and faces of real Laurel Springs students, families, and alumni.
The final video was a labor of love from each participant, creating a beautiful testament to the Laurel Springs community.
To celebrate the launch, we chatted with students and alumni who were involved behind the scenes to learn more about their experience and their journey as a Laurel Springs student.

Gabriella Anzelc
Why did Laurel Springs alumna Gabriella Anzelc, a dedicated equestrian, want to be a part of the commercial?
“LSS gave me the opportunities regular school didn’t and I want the world to know”, she says.
Gabriella’s parents, Tiffany and Joel Anzelc, added:.
“People need to know there are other education options than traditional school that allows a student flexibility and room to design their day to incorporate passions and additional activities or passions they also want to pursue. Having a mobile education that travels with you, wherever life takes you, was everything for our family.”

Cameron Wei
Junior Cameron Wei showcased his golf skills during the filming of the commercial. What is his favorite part about being a Laurel Springs student?
“My favorite part about being a student at LSS is meeting a broad range of students across the world pursuing their dreams. It feels bigger than just school,” he says.

Linden Wang
Alumnus Linden Wang demonstrated badminton moves for the commercial. Why did he choose Laurel Springs?
“Flexibility. I chose Laurel Springs because of the flexibility it provided as an online school,” he says. “This did not disappoint and the flexibility I had as a student at LSS was great. I was able to manage my time and when I studied, balancing being a professional badminton athlete with my rigorous high school coursework.”
Philip Prim
Laurel Springs freshman Philip Prim provided voiceover work that was incorporated into the full video. What has his first year at Laurel Springs been like?
“I was very surprised how flexible I could be because I travel a lot and in most schools it was hard to keep up. LSS had the perfect curriculum for me to travel and keep up with my studies,” he says.
Nyla Moss
Junior Nyla Moss also lent her voice talents to the commercial. What advice does she have for future students?
“One thing that potential students should know about Laurel Springs is that it gives you a chance to broaden your perspective on how you view school,” she says. “Laurel Springs has supported me in my academic journey by providing me with a comprehensive educational experience, allowing me to demonstrate mastery in all disciplines of each course I study on a flexible schedule.”
Esme Harrison and Madeleine Lee
Alumni Esme Harrison and Madeleine Lee shared their incredible dance talents as part of the commercial. What did Esme think of the filming process?
“My favorite part about making the commercial was meeting the other LSS students who were participating. We got to share our stories and showcase our talents while filming,” she says.
What does Madeleine have to share about her academic journey at Laurel Springs?
“LSS supported me by providing 100% asynchronous classes that were purely focused on my academic growth. As a ballet dancer whose goal was to pursue a career in ballet while also applying to colleges, I can confidently say that LSS gave me the flexibility and support I needed to achieve those goals,” she says. “I’m extremely grateful to all the teachers that I’ve worked with during my time at LSS. Their detailed feedback, connection, and genuine care all helped me succeed.”
