Admissions Process FAQs

  • What makes a Cohort Enrollment Date different from one-off enrollment dates?

We limit the number of enrollments on each cohort date – ensuring that every student receives an ample amount of support and resources. Students also have an immediate sense of belonging. The Laurel Springs Community Engagement Team organizes grade-level meet-and-greet sessions around each cohort date. So, if your child is starting 5th grade, they’ll get to meet other 5th graders at Laurel Springs right from the start. Furthermore, students and families meet their “support team” – teachers, counselors, administrators and other faculty members – that play an important role in the student’s academic journey at Laurel Springs. Families will also learn who to contact for guidance as their student begins their coursework. These early opportunities for families and students to engage with the Laurel Springs community are incredibly impactful and always spark excitement!
