#1 Private, K-12 Online Names Aileen Hawkins as Head of School and Chief Academic Officer

We are excited to announce Aileen Hawkins as our new Head of School and Chief Academic Officer. Ms. Hawkins offers more than two decades of experience as an educator, advancement professional, and leader in primary and secondary independent schools and education ventures. With extensive expertise in educational technology, curriculum development,, and teaching, she has helped students to become compassionate, courageous leaders in a dynamic, global community.

Aileen holds degrees from Princeton and Brown and is currently completing her doctorate in educational leadership and administration at The George Washington University.

In her inaugural outing as Head of School, Ms. Hawkins joins students and parents in San Antonio, Texas for a regional, in-person field trip. Families will join teachers and staff in discovering the awe-inspiring story of The Alamo, enjoy lunch along the Riverwalk, and then ascend the Tower of the Americas on a thrilling experience of this historical and modern city.
