Laurel Springs Welcomes Students From the Following Arizona Districts
Arizona Graduation Requirements and the Laurel Springs Diploma
Arizona’s State Board of Education sets graduation requirements of at least 22 credits for public school students: four credits of English, four of mathematics, three of science, three of history and social science, one in fine arts or career and technical education, and seven electives. Students must also pass a civics test, with a passing score of 70 out of 100 for the graduating class of 2026 and after.
As a private school, Laurel Springs is not bound by the state’s credit formula, but our diploma requirements are built to exceed that 22-credit minimum. Every student who finishes with us earns a Laurel Springs high school diploma and an official transcript accepted by Arizona’s public universities and by colleges all around the world.
Students who arrive mid-year or short on credits can use credit recovery to close the gap. Rolling admissions let a student start almost any Wednesday, and each course carries a five-month semester or ten-month year-long completion window, so credit recovery can happen on a workable calendar instead of a summer scramble.
For students working ahead rather than catching up, Advanced Placement coursework and dual enrollment are available across most subject areas.
