"This school has been life-changing for my two daughters. Attending school at LSS has allowed them both to pursue their dreams while still getting an excellent academic education. My older daughter now attends Harvard and was completely prepared for an Ivy education thanks to the curriculum approach at LSS. Excellent, excellent school filled with staff and teachers who care. #ForeverGrateful"
A College-Minded Curriculum
The Upper School focuses on preparing your child academically and emotionally for post-secondary success. Teachers and counselors work collaboratively with your family to make sure students are ready for the rigors of college-level academics.
Students receive ongoing guidance from experienced counselors, as well as opportunities to enroll in Honors, Advanced Placement, dual enrollment, NCAA-approved, and UC a-g-approved courses to better achieve their college goals.
Highly Qualified Counselors
College counselors play a key role in keeping students focused and on track for post-secondary goals, the college application process, and graduation. Counselors communicate with teachers, write recommendation letters, and assist students and parents with academic, social, and emotional needs.
Counselors meet one-on-one with students and parents to answer questions and provide valuable resources to support students’ success with reaching their goals. In addition, college-bound student athletes receive guidance that focuses on topics such as eligibility, amateurism, recruitment, and balancing academics and athletics.
Preparing For Post-Secondary Study
The Upper School provides a high level of instruction for college-bound students, with personal attention and academic coaching to help students reach the nation’s top colleges and universities.

Our two older children graduated from LSS and have gone on to great success in college, and our daughter is on track to be accepted at her top college of choice. The kids retain what they learn, they have real teachers to interact with, extracurricular activities that are both fun and educational, and they make friends with other LSS students all around the world. It's a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this school. If you've been considering online school, now's the time to give LSS a try."
