In this Kindergarten English fundamentals course, students will learn through structured lessons that focus on reading comprehension, critical reading and analysis, composition, vocabulary, grammar, usage, and mechanics.

Lessons are designed to develop comprehension, hone critical reading skills, build vocabulary, and help students evaluate and apply the ideas they have learned from their personal reading time. In addition to honing their reading comprehension skills, students will also practice writing throughout the course using analysis and critical thinking skills.

Prerequisites: This course is designed for Laurel Springs students in Kindergarten.
