Spanish 4
In this world language course, students will study six thematic units based on past AP® Spanish Language and Cultures themes, as well as optional topics that are subdivided into 13 thematic chapters. Each chapter weaves a variety of authentic texts, such as videos, audios, blogs, interviews, articles, and literature that align with two or three essential questions, providing the overarching goals of the chapter for the student.
Chapter activities integrate the World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages focusing on the five Goal Areas: Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparisons, and Communities standards.
Student Learning Objectives for each chapter align with the World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages and the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts and Literacy.
